About Stepout Journals

Stepout Journals provides the space and support for children and adults to develop their socio-emotional skills, who go on to make a positive and lasting impact within them and the society on a wider scale.

At Stepout Journals, children and adults are nurtured with social and emotional competencies through travel/activities/experiences using reflective learning practices and active dialoguing. This enables them to have a positive outlook towards their own identities, recognize the impact of their actions and make active change in their communities.

Social and emotional learning (SEL) is “the process through which children and adults,

set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive
